UAC-CK-470 Capping Machine

Capable of applying and tightening caps from 15 mm to 70 mm with a high speed of 250 cpm.


The UAC-CK-470 capping machine is an inline capping machine capable of applying and tightening caps as small as 15 mm all the way up to 70 mm with a higest possible speed of 250 cpm.

Built on an all welded base, the UAC-CK-470 can easily be incorporated into any line of production provided the space for operation. It is designed to easily integrate into production lines having adjustable quills, grippers, height and is compatible with conveyor systems with a 4.5″ wide table top chain.

Other than the base, brackets, and sprockets, other parts of the CK are built with FDA approved coated aluminum and stainless steel.

Tightening is done by four stations, each with two sets of wheels for a total of eight quills. Quills come with heavy duty clutches standard, but our pneumatic torque control clutches are an option if more precise control is required.

Container Gripper Belt Drive and Cap Tightening Quills are both suspended from the top plate to assist in the prevention of product spillage from interfering with machine operation or “gumming up the works.”

Gripping is accomplished by standard gripper belts. Also available are gripper chains which will provide a more versatile method for less common containers.
